Prashanth Podagatlapalli is a Hyderabad-based actor, writer, and filmmaker whose creative instincts sit squarely in the world of Telugu independent cinema. He came up through the Avanti Cinema orbit — appearing in Ranganaayaki (2021, dir. Rohit–Sasi) alongside Divya Bandaru, Thanmai Bolt, and other members of the extended MC Joint family.
His directorial debut arrived with Viral Video (2025) — a multi-story Telugu comedy-drama anthology he wrote, directed, and produced through H2O Arts. The film takes a sharp, comedic look at how mobile phones and digital media rewire human behaviour, using an ensemble of actors and interlocking stories to make its point. The cast includes Muni Myatari, and the music was distributed by MC Joint.
