Pure Hyderabadi — and everything that means. Sai Yogi carries a city's accent, its street energy, and its storytelling instinct into every role he plays. He is equally at home in the intensity of a theatre stage, the precision of a film set, and the quiet work of writing a lyric that lands in someone's chest. He has been part of the Avanti Cinema universe from nearly the beginning — and he keeps finding new ways to make his presence felt in it.
Sai Yogi G is a Hyderabad-based actor, lyricist and filmmaker whose work spans stage, screen and song. He speaks the city — Deccani, Telugu and English — with the fluency of someone who grew up on its streets and learned his craft through workshops with Natarang Theatre Group and B Studio before the industry had a chance to smooth any of it out.
His screen career began with Nirudyoga Natulu — Avanti Cinema's debut web series — where he played his first full-length character. Since then he has appeared in nearly every Avanti Cinema project: Pickpocket, Double Engine, Chivaraku Migiledhi and the short film Neramu Shiksha. In 2025 he made his theatrical feature debut in Saree, directed by Ram Gopal Varma — a significant step up in commercial profile for an actor who earned it the slow, credible way.
He is also a lyricist with screen credits. Metal Marfa from Gopi Galla Goa Trip is his. He wrote Pelliki Pille for the upcoming Viral Video and Dongalu for Videshi — both in post-production. Writing, for him, is an extension of the same instinct that makes him a compelling actor: he knows what lands and what doesn't, and he trusts that knowledge.
As a director he has made short films including the Hyderabad Players series. On stage his most notable performances include Bhoothagaanam with Natarang Theatre Group (performed six times; strong audience response), Gulaab at Rangbhoomi Hyderabad (antagonist lead, two shows), and Paraayi with B Studio at IIIT Campus. He is part of the MC Joint roster and available for feature film, web, OTT and theatrical projects.
