Building a distribution pipeline for Telugu film music, with composer Vivek Sagar.
As Avanti Cinema grew, so did the sound behind its films. Every story had a carefully crafted sonic identity, but it was largely unknown outside a small community. Every original soundtrack, background track and title theme needed a home on every platform.
Tapeloop, spearheaded by composer Vivek Sagar, brought the creative rigour. MC Joint brought the infrastructure and the network. Together we built a pipeline that takes soundtracks, themes and albums to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, JioSaavn and other major platforms, and MC Joint acts as the distribution and marketing partner for the Tapeloop catalogue.
Releases we deployed together include the Story Discussion OST and themes, the Nirudyoga Natulu album, the Chivaraku Migiledhi soundtrack and the Sheeshmahal album.
The partnership marked MC Joint's formal entry into full-scale music distribution. It turned music from something we supported into a vertical of its own, with the infrastructure, relationships and track record that followed.
