Camp Sasi is the writer and creative anchor of Rohit–Sasi, Avanti Cinema's celebrated filmmaking duo. Where Rohit brings visual precision, Sasi brings the stories — grounded, layered, and built from close observation of ordinary Telugu life.
He wrote the stories and screenplays for Nirudyoga Natulu (2018), Story Discussion (both seasons), Double Engine (2024), and Gopi Galla Goa Trip (2025). The latter — which he co-directed — premiered to widespread critical acclaim in November 2025. It was described by reviewers as 'exactly what Telugu cinema needed right now' and praised for its organic performances and beautifully written characters.
As a director, Sasi helmed Sheeshmahal — an anthology film shot in 2013 and theatrically released in 2024, featuring Piyush Mishra and Rahul Ram of Indian Ocean, with music by Vivek Sagar. The film stands as one of the most unusual and personal projects in recent Telugu indie cinema.
He also acts — playing Jack Daniels 'JD' in Gopi Galla Goa Trip — and has appeared in multiple Avanti Cinema productions. His Facebook group Story Discussion pioneered story-critique culture among Telugu independent filmmakers. MC Joint represents Sasi for creative partnerships, project development, and talent bookings.
