Theatre-trained Telugu actor known for raw, naturalistic performances. Lead in Double Engine; credits include RGV's Disha Encounter, AHA's Kotha Poradu, and more.
Muni Myatari — also credited as Shanthi Muni and Shantha Muni — is a theatre-trained Telugu actor with a gift for making the camera believe him completely. Born and raised in Hyderabad, he built his craft through years of stage work before stepping in front of a film lens.
His screen career began with Ram Gopal Varma's productions — he appeared in Nagnam and played Jollu Naveen in Disha Encounter (2022). He appeared as Kodi Mahesh in the AHA web series Kotha Poradu (2020), a role that introduced him to a wider audience. In 2022, he played Muni in Divya Bandaru's short film Pickpocket — another MC Joint family project.
Then came Double Engine (2024, dir. Rohit Penumatsa). He played Auto Dany, the film's lead — a role that required him to carry every scene with emotional texture and understated naturalism. The film received strong critical praise and Vivek Sagar's score earned additional attention for the project. He followed it with Viral Video (2025, dir. Prashanth Podagatlapalli) as Raju, and Fighter Raja (2025).
Theatre gave him what no acting class can teach — the ability to inhabit a character from the inside. MC Joint represents Muni Myatari for feature films, web series, and brand bookings.
