Our journey with Prashant Podagatlapalli began with a pitch trailer. By our second meeting, he had already begun shooting. By the third, he had found a producer. And before long, he became part of the MC Joint family as a writer–director whose persistence and work ethic made him impossible to ignore.

Viral Video was funded, shot, edited, and completed by Prashant with every resource he could gather. It's the kind of film that carries the energy of its making — you can feel the discipline and the sacrifice in it. All of Prashant's work came together on 23 November 2025, when MC Joint hosted the film's first official screening at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. The audience of 80 was carefully curated — people who would engage with the film seriously, offer real feedback, and represent the broader ecosystem of Telugu independent cinema.

The room was electric. Filmmakers, students, actors, faculty from LV Prasad Film School (Chennai), alumni from Ramanaidu Film School, and people from across age groups experienced the film together for the first time.
